Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, today revealed that the Emirate is gearing up to host the season-ending tournament of the European Challenge Tour “Road to Ras Al Khaimah” with a host of exciting events and activities for golf enthusiasts and visitors of all ages to enjoy. The final event of the tour’s 29-tournament season will take place at Al Hamra Golf Club from October 31 to November 3, 2018.
Golf fans and visitors heading to Ras Al Khaimah will have a variety of exciting activities to enjoy in addition to the tournament. Starting with a fun bingo night and DJ entertainment on the first day of the tournament, followed by a BBQ and live entertainment on Thursday 31st October, a mouthwatering brunch and entertainment for the kids on Friday 2nd November at the Bay Sports Bar, and ending the sporting spectacular with a flavourful street food festival featuring international cuisines from around the globe coupled with live entertainment and fun activities for the whole family.
Haitham Mattar, Chief Executive Officer of Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, said: “After hosting the penultimate Challenge Tour event in Ras Al Khaimah for the last two years, we are delighted to be hosting the Grand Final of the Challenge Tour’s Road to Ras Al Khaimah this year.”

As part of RAKTDA’s strategy to enhance sports, adventure and event tourism in the Emirate, ‘The Road to Ras Al Khaimah’ is one of the many high-profile events that are boosting the number of international travellers and UAE residents visiting Ras Al Khaimah.
