The 12-hour dusk till dawn ‘beach festival’ returns to Al Marjan Island on April 6th
If the idea of partying until the sun comes up on a picturesque island in the middle of the Arabian Gulf sounds like your idea of the ultimate night out, then you’re going to want to mark down April 6th on your event calendars. Destination Dawn, the bi-annual, 12-hour beach festival on Ras Al Khaimah’s Al Marjan Island, will return to the emirate with Electronic Dance Music (EDM) sensations Dash Berlin and Ummet Ozcan headlining the event and supported by the popular British DJ duo, Hollaphonic.
Promising to be a night to remember, the festival will kick start at 5pm on Friday and will continue into the morning of Saturday until 5am. Ticket holders can bring their tents along with them and camp the night at the island by booking a camping spot either on the Destination Dawn website or at the venue for a nominal fee of AED 50. Rixos Bab Al Bahr guests staying at the hotel during Destination Dawn get free tickets to the event.
Guests coming from Dubai can reach the festival via free shuttle buses from Manara Center Parking (Noor Bank Metro Station) on Sheikh Zayed Road. The buses will leave Dubai between 5pm – 7pm on April 6 and will return from Al Marjan Island between 2am to 5am the next morning.
Sponsored by Al Marjan Island, produced and organised by Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) and Double E Entertainment, the bi-annual festival is expected to attract thousands of party-goers in its fourth edition.
Located only 45 minutes from Dubai, the beautiful island will be transformed into a music-lover’s hangout with food trucks lining the streets and designated chill-out zones for those wanting to take a break from the all-night dance floor.
Tickets are available for over 18 only and start at AED 100 for early birds and goes up to AED 250 for tickets at the door, and can be purchased on www.destinationdawn.com and Platinum List.
