Celebrate Art and Good Food at Puro Café and Terrace This Summer

Puro Café and Terrace in Ras Al Khaimah will be one of the must visit spots of the summer as it transforms into a buzzing hub for the UAE art community, featuring a series of veritable galleries by 14 UAE-based artists, colorful exhibitions and interactive workshops. Visitors will also get the chance to indulge in new and explosive flavors as they sample Puro Café and Terrace’s newly launched menu, while sipping from new creations including turmeric latte, beetroot latte and matcha latte.

The restaurant’s exhibitions will showcase a wide variety of art, including work by the following artists:

  • Beth Lamont, an American “intuitive” artist whose has been creating insightful paintings for the past ten years.
  • Mike Hook, an American photographer who has been working in the region for the past 12 years – his work has appeared across many platforms, notably Vogue Italia, BBC, FOX News and Getty Images.
  • Mike Arnold a former architect, who, after retiring, opened a thriving studio in the historic Dubai neighbourhood of Al Fahidi.
  • Christopher Osborne who uses historical photographic printing techniques to give his work unique flair.
  • Figurative painter Victor Sitali, an award-winning artist who hails from Zambia – the hearing-impaired artist who has been selected to participate in the 12th Florence Biennale, has been living in Dubai for the past decade.

As well as these artists, also displaying their work at Puro Café and Terrace: Rakhi Sawalani- founder of Desert Art collective, Marina Roussou- Co-founder of Desert Art Collective, , Kee Up Yeom, Zhanar Khamitova, Eva Jay, Young Hye Yoon and Jeanne Van Der Westhuizen.

During the evenings, talented goldsmiths Lia Staehlin and Victoria Downey will be on hand, designing and creating pieces of jewellery live as you dine.

With its stunning food and amazing views, Puro Café and Terrace is the perfect spot for relaxed lunch sundowners or a cozy evening meal.

All the art on display will be on sale should you wish to take a slice of the creative buzz home with you.
