i. This is applicable to all budget, midscale, 4 star hotels, holiday home operators as well as attractions, golf courses and tourism establishments. In all cases, for eligibility the business must be a non-government owned entity.
ii. RAK TDA will contact and co-ordinate directly with the eligible hospitality and touristic establishments in the coming weeks
i. RAK TDA will notify relevant hospitality establishments of the waiver for Tourism Dirham for the months of March, April and May 2020 via email.
ii. Hospitality Establishments shall continue to collect Tourism Dirham from guests during the said period, in accordance with the Emiri Decree No 20 of 2015 regarding the Tourism Dirham.
iii. The Establishments will also continue to submit monthly report and BIS reporting to RAK TDA on the assigned date.
iv. Hospitality Establishments shall retain the Tourism Dirham collected for the months of March, April and May 2020, and will be exempt from remitting the same to RAK TDA.
i. RAK TDA will notify relevant entities of the waiver for all accrued fines until March 31st 2020 via the following email [email protected]
ii. An official notification of this waiver will be shared with eligible entities.
iii. RAK TDA will proceed with waiving all accrued fines.
i. RAK TDA will notify relevant stakeholders of the waiver for Tourism Licensing Fees including classification fees, annual activity fees, artist permits fees for Q2 & Q3 2020
ii. Stakeholders can submit their queries to RAKTDA following email with relevant supporting [email protected]
iii. RAK TDA will evaluate the requests received and proceed with waiving tourism fees for qualified requests.
iv. All requests will be notified of the status of waivers via the following email: [email protected]
i. Industry partners need to confirm their interests for participating in exhibition(s) and roadshow(s) for 2020-2021 with RAK TDA via the following email: [email protected]
ii. RAK TDA will assist industry partners regarding registering for exhibitions, roadshows etc.; all participation fees due to RAKTDA will be waived, this will not include travel, accommodation and F&B expenses or any fees or expenses related to third parties.
iii. RAK TDA will notify industry partners and provide them with the necessary badges upon completion of registration.
Fees that are due to other government entities such as RAK DED, RAK Chamber of Commerce, RAK Municipality, Civil Defense, PSD etc. is the prerogative of those departments and should not be construed as part of this incentive package).
